We are happy to announce the launch of Fidgetstyx, available exclusively on coolestshop.com. This knuckle roller is made by hand in Kula Hawaii by owner Garth Marriott. All the woods are sourced locally, are recycled, remnants from various sources.
Through years of woodworking Garth has acquired a vast collection of various woods and has relationships with various high end furniture and art makers on island that are happy to have pother makers time and pillage through their scraps to get them used not just burned in the next camp fire.
This special one is made from Crepe Myrtle on the shaft from Garth's from yard. The ends are really amazing as they are made from Kukui Nuts that are hollowed out and filled with Canna Lily Seeds to make them work like mini rattles. These are the same seeds use in the local traditional Kumu rattles made from Coconuts and filled with the same seeds.
This is a nice long size so it allows it be used as a Knuckle Roller for people with big hands and for those children with smaller hands this will make a killer rattle.
This measures 3.81" inches in length and is approx .44" inches in diameter in the smallest part of the shaft. The diameter of the balls at the ends is approx 1" - 1.2" inches.
Weight is 21.5 grams.
This one had been custom painted with acrylic paints and wood burned as well for the lined details. One of a kind. "Lightening Strikes" is what this one is called.
This has been treated with multiple layers of lacquer to give it the most pop on the grains.
While these are fun for kids of all ages we do not recommend that children under the age of 6 use them unattended as they pose a choking hazard.
